बिहार सरकार राज्य के सरकारी प्रारंभिक विद्यालयों में शिक्षकों की बहाली के लिए शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (टीईटी) आयोजित नहीं करेगी। चूंकि भारत सरकार द्वारा नियमित रूप से केन्द्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (सीटीईटी) आयोजित की जा रही है। प्राथमिक शिक्षा निदेशक रवि प्रकाश ने शिक्षा विभाग के इस निर्णय की जानकारी बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति को दे दी है। अब बोर्ड इस पर अंतिम निर्णय लेकर हाईकोर्ट को इसकी जानकारी देगा।
Bihar government will not conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the reinstatement of teachers in government elementary schools in the state. Since the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted regularly by the Government of India. The Director of Primary Education, Ravi Prakash has informed the Bihar School Examination Committee about this decision of the Education Department. Now the board will take a final decision on this and inform it to the High Court.

बिहार में शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति द्वारा ली जाती है। एक याचिका की सुनवाई के क्रम में हाईकोर्ट ने न्यायादेश पारित कर बिहार बोर्ड को टीईटी के आयोजन को लेकर निर्णय करने का निर्देश दिया था। इसके बाद बोर्ड ने शिक्षा विभाग से कोर्ट के आदेश को लेकर प्राथमिक शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा कराने के लिए निर्णय की अपेक्षा विभाग से की थी। प्राथमिक निदेशक ने बिहार बोर्ड के सचिव को भेजे पत्र द्वारा तत्कालीन अपर मुख्य सचिव संजय कुमार की अध्यक्षता में हुई बैठक में टीईटी नहीं लेने के निर्णय से अवगत कराया है।
The teacher eligibility test in Bihar is conducted by the Bihar School Examination Committee. In the course of hearing a petition, the High Court had passed an order and directed the Bihar Board to take a decision regarding the conduct of TET. After this, the board had expected a decision from the education department to conduct the primary teacher eligibility test on the order of the court. The Primary Director, through a letter sent to the Secretary of the Bihar Board, has informed about the decision not to take TET in the meeting chaired by the then Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar.
